About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to design and maintain scalable web applications in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional Ruby on Rails experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps practices
- Experience working with distributed teams
Additional Information
Expected commitment: 20–40 hours per week
Time zone overlap with client team may be required
Contract duration to be discussed during the interview process
