Key Responsibilities:
- Synon RPG developers (RPG Synon is a version of AS400)
- Experience implementing source code control
- Develop, maintain, and support applications written in RPG (IV/ILE/Free) and Synon/2E
- Analyze existing systems and provide enhancement or modernization solutions
- Work with business analysts to understand requirements and translate into technical specifications
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application stability
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
- Collaborate with QA and operations teams for deployment and support
- Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems is huge plus
Key Skills:
- 3-5+ years of experience in RPG Synon/2E (CA 2E) / COOL:2E
- Solid understanding of DB2/400, CL programs, and DDS
- Ability to work in both structured and agile development environments
