Summary: The Routing & Switching Engineer role focuses on managing and optimizing Cisco Routing & Switching technologies within datacenter networking environments. The position requires hands-on experience with network cutovers and migrations, as well as a strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and supporting high-speed network environments. This is a 14-week remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Cisco Routing & Switching technologies
- Perform network cutovers and migrations
- Support datacenter networking environments
- Troubleshoot and test network issues
- Work with VLANs, STP, BGP, and OSPF
- Utilize TOR switch architecture and SFP-based switches
- Support 10Gb and 25Gb network environments

- Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching technologies
- Hands-on experience with datacenter networking environments
- Experience performing network cutovers and migrations
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts
