Summary: We are seeking a Senior Business Architect who is fluent in German (C1/C2) to facilitate digital transformation initiatives on the Pega platform. This role serves as a crucial link between German business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring effective requirement definition and process design. The position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the EU. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis is required, with a preference for candidates having 5-8 years overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops with customer stakeholders (German language)
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows
  • Define and validate business processes, workflows, and solution designs in Pega context
  • Act as a bridge between business (Germany) and delivery teams
  • Support Agile delivery: Backlog grooming, sprint planning, story refinement
  • Define acceptance criteria and support UAT
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, and solution optimization
  • Ensure compliance with customer standards, GDPR, and data privacy guidelines
  • Maintain key artefacts: BRD/FRD, BPMN diagrams, traceability matrix

Key Skills:

  • German Language: Minimum C1/C2 (strong verbal & written communication)
  • Business Analysis: 3+ years in requirement engineering and stakeholder management
  • Experience in at least one: Pega Platform / BPM solutions or Travel / Railways/ Airline / Transportation domain
  • Strong understanding of: Business process modelling (BPMN/UML), Agile/Scrum methodologies, End-to-end requirement lifecycle
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) preferred
  • Experience working with German clients preferred
  • Knowledge of railway/travel operations (booking, ticketing, CRM, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart preferred
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management (German + English)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
