Summary: We are looking for a Senior Azure + Generative AI Architect who will actively engage in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions. This hands-on role requires expertise in Azure OpenAI and cloud-native engineering, with a focus on coding, integration, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing secure APIs and AI-powered workflows. This position is remote and offers a long-term contract duration of 12-24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-grade GenAI solutions using Azure OpenAI (GPT models), Python, and supporting frameworks
- Build conversational agents, agent-based workflows, retrieval systems, and grounding pipelines
- Develop backend microservices using Python and/or .NET Core (C#) (Node.js optional)
- Integrate AI services with enterprise data and systems via secure, scalable APIs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and release automation using Azure DevOps
- Ensure production readiness through monitoring, telemetry, logging, and evaluation frameworks for GenAI systems
- Contribute directly to hands-on coding, testing, deployment, performance tuning, and optimization
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable architectures
- Collaborate closely with engineering, cloud, data, and product teams to drive delivery
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a senior, hands-on engineer or architect delivering AI and cloud solutions at scale

*Role Overview*
We are seeking a Senior Azure + Generative AI Architect who is deeply hands-on and capable of designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions end to end. This is not a supervisory or purely architectural role. The successful candidate will actively code, integrate, deploy, and troubleshoot complex GenAI and cloud-native systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong, real-world experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, and cloud-native engineering on Azure. You will work directly on building secure APIs, backend services, AI-powered workflows, and production-ready GenAI solutions.
