Gold Standard are looking to hire a KYC/AML Compliance Manager as a consultant for a 6-month period, who will be responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of the organization anti-money laundering (AML) & Know Your Customer (KYC) Policies and ensure that these are aligned with best practices and legal requirements. This role will excite someone who has a clear understanding of AML/KYC and who is excited about taking ownership of a growing Not for Profit’s AML/KYC policies development. Only candidate based and with the correct legal right to work documents in Germany or the UK will be considered.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE OF WORK
Develop Best Practices: Collaborate with Gold Standard teams to develop KYC/AML policies and processes. Ensure policies and processes are aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
Training and Capacity Building Develop training materials on KYC/AML practices as needed, based on policies and procedures. Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance understanding and implementation of KYC/AML policies and processes.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports outlining compliance status, findings, and recommendations for improvement. Provide insights and updates to management on KYC/AML issues.
Required Skills and Experience: Experience in developing policies relating to KYC and AML Experience in KYC and AML compliance, preferably within the non-profit or environmental sector. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to KYC/AML. Knowledge of the Voluntary Carbon Market sector. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
