Key Responsibilities:
- Completing Stage 4 technical drawing packages collaboratively within the live Revit model
- Creating wall, floor, and ceiling construction details
- Developing joinery details
- Producing stair and bathroom detailed construction drawings
- Specifying materials and drawing notation to current UK standards
- Coordinating details across packages to construction-ready standards
- Integrating MEP consultant information into construction issue drawings
- Engaging in daily collaborative work via BIM Collaborate Pro
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years Revit experience (10+ years preferred)

CONTRACT/FREELANCE REVIT-FLUENT ARCHITECT / TECHNICIAN WANTED — IMMEDIATE START — CENTRAL LONDON
I'm looking for a skilled, experienced Revit technician to work alongside me for an intensive 2–4 week sprint on a live, on-site mixed-use project in Central London, with potential to extend. This is a collaborative role where you will be working with me daily on a shared cloud-based Revit model. This is not a hand-off arrangement. I need someone communicative, experienced, and comfortable working in real time on a live, on-site project with tight deadlines.
THE PROJECT
A six-storey mixed-use conversion and extension, currently on site:
- Basement and ground floor: commercial refurbishment
- Levels 1–4: six high-specification residential apartments
- Levels 1–3: refurbishment of existing building
- Level 4: new roof extension
Stage 4 technical design is well underway. A number of drawings have already been issued. The Revit model is well-organised and cloud-hosted.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Completing Stage 4 technical drawing packages collaboratively within the live Revit model
- Wall, floor and ceiling construction details
- Joinery details
- Stair and bathroom detailed construction drawings
- Material specifications and drawing notation to current UK standards
- Full coordination of details across packages to construction-ready standards
- Integration of MEP consultant information (mechanical, electrical, sprinklers, fire) into construction issue drawings
- Daily collaborative working via BIM Collaborate Pro
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
- Minimum 5 years Revit experience (10+ strongly preferred)
- Collaborative by nature with strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and hunger for learning.
- Proven experience on mid-rise residential projects (4–12 storeys). You must understand the scale, complexity and construction detail requirements this involves.
- On-site experience. You must understand how things are constructed in the real world, as there is no scope for abortive drawings where drawn details are non-compliant or cannot be built.
- Working knowledge of fire safety construction detailing at mid-rise residential scale
- Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations — non-negotiable, there is no time to get up to speed
- Experience integrating MEP consultant information into architectural construction drawings
- BIM Collaborate Pro familiarity
- Ideally you will have your own current Revit 2027 and BIM Collaborate Pro licences (but if not can be supplied for the duration of the contract if needed)
- Available 3–5 days per week, immediate start (flexibility on hours by negotiation)
- Fully remote - either UK or Europe-based (same/similar time zone)
- Portfolio showing Stage 4 residential technical drawing output - not renders
REMUNERATION
Based upon experience. Market rates and potentially higher if quality and experience can be demostrated. Quality costs money.
