Summary: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Project Manager to oversee projects in a healthcare setting, particularly focusing on Revenue Cycle operations. The role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, financial tracking, and risk management. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. The position requires proactive risk management and progress tracking to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate project activities from initiation through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Track and monitor project progress and performance
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Track and forecast project financials
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, and issues
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, internal teams, and managed service partners
- Facilitate virtual project meetings and discussions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Healthcare IT Project Manager
- Hands-on project management experience required
- Experience with Revenue Cycle processes required
- Bachelor's degree required (technical field preferred, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to monitor project progress, manage risks/issues, and escalate when necessary
- ServiceNow experience
- PMI or PMP certification strongly preferred
- Middle Revenue Cycle / Coding project management experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
