Resilience Project Manager
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Resilience Project Manager on a remote basis with rare travel across Europe for an initial 12 month contract.

Our client is looking for an Resilience Project Manager. To support application managers and stakeholders to improve the integrity of our data, applications, and network resilience.
This is a key role in defining, supporting, and ensuring the resilience of essential business systems within Asset IT.
Task Description:
- Consulting with stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Facilitating workshops and deliver the output.
- Improving application data quality
- Reviewing and improving solution designs
- Developing and testing Application Emergency Recovery Plans and backup solutions.
- Supporting application and data migrations to new platforms and services (e.g. File Share, Azure Cloud, Enterprise Scale, Active Directory etc)
- Reviewing customer requirements, procedures, and policies to improve existing backup infrastructure.
- Participating in planning and specifying approaches for accomplishing work within team.
- Monitoring and assuring that third party contracts related to IT Resilience topics remain aligned to stakeholder requirements.
- Defining and supporting key resilience requirements and objectives.
- Analysing IT Resilience related data and recommending how issues could be addressed.
- Assessing Data Rooms for resilience issues and addressing them.
- Developing metrics and reports on the state of IT Resilience topics.
- Supporting the alignment of IT Application Emergency Recovery Plans with those of the Business Continuity Management team.
- Supporting Solution Architects and Application Managers with resilience topics and migrating applications to Enterprise Scale Cloud Solutions.
- Providing PMO Support

- Over 5 years experience working on IT Resilience related topics:
- Application Disaster Recovery
- Application and Software Vulnerabilities
- Improving Data Quality
- Application Modernisation and migration
- Application Authentication Systems
- Systems Analysis
- International experience
- Worked on a portfolio of applications (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Cloud etc)
- Stakeholder collaboration across various departments
- Worked with Application Support, Infrastructure Teams, and Third Parties.
- PMO Support
Knowledge:
- Project Delivery and Execution (PMI), Cloud Virtualisation, Storage Technologies
- ITIL/ITSCM process knowledge and experience
- Disaster Recovery Testing and Compliance
- Stakeholder Management
- Business Continuity Experience
- Business Impact Analysis
- Risk Assessment
- IT Resilience
- Demonstrable pro-active approach
- Demonstrable skills in Contract Management and successful supplier management.
