Summary: The Research Manager role involves supporting existing Research Managers in the execution of various social and market research projects. The position requires managing both quantitative and qualitative research from inception to presentation, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. The role is temporary, with a contract lasting until August/September 2025, and offers a remote working arrangement with occasional on-site travel. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in delivering research projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, design, and undertake quantitative and qualitative research projects from initial consultation to final presentation with stakeholders.
  • Ensure research planning, outputs, and resources meet current and future organisational requirements.
  • Enable organisational and strategic decision-making through robust research findings.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing, overseeing, and delivering multiple research projects (both quantitative and qualitative).
  • Ability to produce and translate research and evidence into practical findings to meet customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Comfortable handling and analysing large data sets as well as qualitative data.
  • Excellent people, supplier, and customer management skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Focused on achieving business objectives through understanding and developing their contribution.
