Summary: Psychedelic Alpha is looking for a part-time analyst to assist in the coverage of psychedelic drug development and its clinical rollout. The role involves understanding the U.S. drug approval process, healthcare system dynamics, and conducting both desk-based and field research. Candidates should have knowledge of the psychedelic pipeline and regulatory developments, as well as experience in data analysis and interviewing. The position is fully remote, with a focus on U.S. coverage but open to international applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support coverage of psychedelic drug development and clinical rollout.
- Conduct desk-based and field research, including data analysis and interviews.
- Analyze U.S. drug development and approval processes.
- Understand and evaluate potential psychedelic care delivery models.
- Monitor state and federal policy and regulatory developments.
- Assess practitioner sentiment and perspectives regarding psychedelic treatments.

- Strong grasp of the U.S. healthcare system (from payor to provider) and how various stakeholders influence rollout and scalability
- Experience in both desk-based and field research, from data analysis through to interviewing
Nice to have:
- A background in regulatory affairs, biotech/pharma, clinical research, or similar
- Exposure to reimbursement, health-system operations, or clinic readiness
- Prior analyst, research, or journalism output or experience
