Summary: The role of Sr Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Consultant involves providing production support, development, and integration assistance for Oracle Commerce Cloud platforms, focusing on both B2B and B2C models. The consultant will also be responsible for knowledge transfer to the client IT support team and will work on enhancing the system through various integrations and customizations. This position requires a strong background in Oracle Commerce Cloud and related technologies, along with effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support including triaging system issues and bug fixes with the B2B and B2C portal.
- Provide development and estimation support for incoming enhancement work.
- Provide integration support to both inbound and outbound Oracle systems including Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud Retail Applications.
- Support in OCC environment patching including Oracle patch assessment.
- Provide Knowledge Transfer (KT) to Client IT support Team.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Implementation and support of Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platforms, focusing on both B2B and B2C business models.
- 3+ years of relevant implementation and/or production support experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud's OSF framework including developing front-end components using ReactJS, NodeJS, and CSS.
- Two full cycles of e-commerce project implementations experience on the Oracle Commerce Cloud platform.
- Experience in requirement gathering on new enhancements.
- Experience in customization and enhancement of OCC's Server Side Extensions (SSE) as per business requirements.
- Experience in integrating various e-commerce concepts such as personalization, shopping carts, order management systems, subscription management, payment gateways, and content management into the OCC platform.
- Customize shipping and payment groups according to project needs.
- Proficient use of software engineering tools, including IDEs, debuggers, and version control systems like GIT.

Experience in requirement gathering on new enhancement.
Experience in customization and enhancement of OCC s Server Side Extensions (SSE) as per business requirements.
Experience in integrate various e-commerce concepts such as personalization, shopping carts, order management systems, subscription management, payment gateways, and content management into the OCC platform.
Customize shipping and payment groups according to project needs.
Had use of software engineering tools proficiently, including IDEs, debuggers, and version control systems like GIT, to maintain high standards in code quality.
Preferred Skills
Experience in integrating OCC with Oracle Retail Order Management System (OROMS), Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), and other Oracle Retail Applications is highly advantageous.
A basic understanding of Java Spring Boot is desirable.
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are critical.
Ability to define requirements for new features and customizations accurately.
Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
