Summary: The role of Remote Sr. Java/Python Developer (w/Pega) involves developing and coding IT solutions for a healthcare services client. The position requires extensive experience in programming, documentation, and IT controls, along with leadership responsibilities for other developers. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions.
- Responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation, and performance testing of purchased products.
- Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
- Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
Key Skills:
- Related bachelor's degree or related work experience.
- 5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry.
- Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages, with experience in Java application development.
- Experience with Web and API Automation Tools/Frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Bruno, Postman).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, TestNG for Java).
- Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
- Proficiency using versioning tools: GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etc.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible team player.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
