Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience managing infrastructure projects, such as application environment setup, application stabilization, deployment/migration of code and infrastructure resources, infrastructure modernization and performance tuning required.
- Manage multiple, large-scale projects with different stakeholder bases simultaneously
- Meet regularly with technical and business personnel
- Facilitate recurring stakeholder and status meetings
- Compile monthly status reports for senior client management using prescribed templates and tooling
- Output-focused professional that is accurate and detail oriented
- Accurately track specifications, dates and requirements for delivery based on design artifacts
- Handle, prioritize and escalate complex issues in a timely and professional manner
Experience/Education Required
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related subject; or equivalent real-world experience
- 5 years of experience in successfully managing large scale projects across business areas
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Agile or Kanban-style task management and resource planning, such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
- Ability to lead others to follow established standards, best practices and expectations
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organization, including highly-technical engineers
- Ability to manage team members in a matrixed organization structure
- Public sector experience (preferred)
