Responsibilities
- Seeking an experienced SAP CPQ Specialist to provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements for the SAP CPQ platform.
- The role will collaborate with business, sales, IT, SAP, CRM, ERP, and integration teams to ensure reliable quote-to-cash operations and continuous improvement.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP CPQ incidents, service requests, and recurring issues.
- Configure and enhance:
- Product catalogs and attributes
- Pricing, discounting, and approval rules
- Guided selling and configuration logic
- Quote workflows and approval processes
- Document templates and proposal outputs
- User roles, permissions, and access
- Analyze root causes and implement sustainable fixes for recurring production issues.
- Support integrations between SAP CPQ and CRM, SAP ECC, pricing, tax, order management, and downstream systems.
- Monitor interface failures, data synchronization, API calls, and transaction errors.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and technical configuration.
- Prepare impact assessments, estimates, test scenarios, and deployment plans for enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate releases, transports, defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Maintain configuration documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, and runbooks.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes through ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve quote accuracy, sales-cycle time, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in SAP CPQ implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP CPQ configuration, including product modeling, pricing, rules, workflows, approvals, and document generation.
- Experience supporting SAP CPQ integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, or integration platforms.
- Understanding of quote-to-cash and sales processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and order handoff.
- Experience with production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Strong testing and release-management experience.
- Ability to create functional specifications, solution designs, test scripts, and support documentation.
