REMOTE SAP BTP Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant who can bridge business requirements with SAP BTP technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will understand SAP business processes and have hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, functional SAP teams, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable BTP-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP BTP-based solutions.
• Work closely with business users, SAP functional teams, developers, and enterprise architects.
• Design functional and techno-functional solutions leveraging SAP BTP.
• Support integration between SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud, and third-party applications.
• Work with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) for system integrations.
• Define integration flows, mappings, interfaces, APIs, and data requirements.
• Understand and work with SAP APIs, OData, REST/SOAP services, and event-driven integrations.
• Participate in solution design, requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and deployment.
• Support SAP BTP extensions and side-by-side extensibility.
• Work with SAP BTP services such as:
• SAP Integration Suite
• Cloud Integration
• API Management
• Event Mesh
• SAP Build Apps / SAP Build Process Automation
• SAP HANA Cloud
• SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Work with security, authentication, authorization, roles, and identity concepts within BTP.
• Assist with troubleshooting integration and application issues.
• Create functional specifications, process flows, solution documentation, and test scenarios.
• Participate in SIT/UAT and coordinate with technical teams for defect resolution.
• Help identify opportunities to modernize existing SAP processes using BTP.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of SAP experience, with significant experience working with SAP BTP.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and functional requirements.
• Strong SAP BTP techno-functional experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA or ECC with external systems.
• Knowledge of APIs, OData, REST/SOAP and integration patterns.
• Understanding of SAP BTP architecture and services.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and/or BTP application extensions is a plus.
