Summary: The EHR Oracle Health IT Analyst role is a remote position focused on supporting an EHR modernization project. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Oracle Cerner/Millennium platforms and a strong understanding of clinical and business workflows, particularly in pharmacy and ambulatory care. This position requires a combination of project management skills and technical knowledge to ensure successful EHR design and optimization. A current Public Trust Clearance from IHS is also required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support EHR modernization projects by leveraging Oracle Health Solutions knowledge.
- Drive successful EHR design, build, and optimization for assigned clinical and business domain groups.
- Provide PMO support and ensure alignment with best practice workflows.
- Document requirements and conduct workflow analysis.
- Prepare configuration recommendations and decision briefs.
- Develop system configuration and optimization plans.
- Create testing, validation, and training documentation.
- Deliver regular status and progress reports to stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Minimum three years of relevant healthcare experience in a clinical or business role.
- Experience working in pharmacy and/or ambulatory care settings.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cerner/Millennium platforms.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, including system assessment and implementation.
- Knowledge of Health Information Management and integration implementation.
- Experience providing PMO (Project Management Office) support.
- Strong understanding of clinical and business workflows in Oracle Health Solutions domains.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Business analyst or Oracle Health Solution support experience preferred.
- Certification(s) in Oracle Cerner/Millennium solutions preferred.
- Experience in Ambulatory, Inpatient, Pharmacy, and/or Data Analytics.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
