Summary: The role of PeopleSoft Financials Consultant involves providing hands-on expertise in PeopleSoft Financials, focusing on financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on PeopleSoft Financials experience.
- Perform financial reporting, reconciliations, journal processing, and general ledger operations.
- Conduct cash reconciliation, account analysis, balance validation, transaction research, and financial discrepancy resolution.
- Work in funds accounting, preferably in a Controller's Office or similar environment.
- Research transactions, validate balances, review journals, and reconcile activity in PeopleSoft.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance users to understand issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, reconciliation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with finance, accounting, and ERP project stakeholders.

Experience working with accounting and finance users to understand issues, research root cause, and recommend corrective actions.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, sensitive project environment with urgent business needs; clear communication skills with finance, accounting, Controller's Office, grants, and ERP project stakeholders.
