Remote NetApp Consultant

Summary: The role of a Remote NetApp Consultant involves designing and implementing storage solutions, including rebalancing programs and QoS policies, to optimize the storage environment. The consultant will also be responsible for setting up performance reporting and executing maintenance operations to enhance the supplier's infrastructure. This position is part of a 6-12 month project, requiring expertise in OpenStack, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. The consultant will work remotely, collaborating with teams to ensure effective deployment and management of storage resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a rebalancing program to identify specific tenants and plan migrations of those tenants across the new clusters and arrays for best utilization of our storage environment.
• Design QoS policies for deployment across the Supplier environment.
• Setup reporting for performance and traffic engineering of the Supplier environment.
• Execute MOPs to grow and optimize the Supplier environment based on the scope details above.
• Deploy new Supplier storage arrays into switched clusters allowing for separation of OpenStack and OpenShift.
• OpenShift and Trident Space, OpenStack, and Kubernetes are must-haves for this role.

Key Skills:
