Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer focuses on leveraging Google Cloud Platform and Elastic Stack technologies to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. The position requires extensive experience in ELK stack and Kubernetes, along with strong skills in log management and deployment. This is a contract position with the potential for extension, primarily remote but associated with a client location in Santa Clara, CA. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining ELK deployments and utilizing various Google Cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using ELK stack and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and maintain Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana.
  • Utilize ELK for log analysis and monitoring.
  • Set up Jenkins Pipelines, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Shell Scripts, and Git.
  • Implement log management tools and ensure effective log deployment.
  • Work with Google Cloud services including GKE, Big Query, and Networking services.

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform DevOps.
  • Strong experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with log management and SIEM tools.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud services like GKE, Big Query, and Pub/Sub.
  • Ability to create deployment templates and manage log analysis.

Job Description:

7+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform DevOps, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Kubernetes.

Strong Experience in Elastic Search, Logstash, Istio/Anthos Service is must.

Experience in Elastic search deployment on cluster and on prem, strong in Kibana commands, deployment, Templates creation.

Experience with log management tools, such as ELK stack

Proficiency in setting up and maintaining ELK deployments

Ability to use ELK for log analysis and monitoring of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure

Experience with SIEM tools, including ELK.

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services like GKE, Big Query, Big Table, Pub/Sub, Networking services, Looker Studio.

Experience in setting up Jenkins Pipelines, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Shell Scripts, Git.
