Summary: The Clinical Data Analyst role at Amtex Systems Inc involves collaborating with business and clinical leaders to provide insights through data analysis and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare data analytics and the ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations. The analyst will support strategic initiatives by delivering actionable insights that guide decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with C-level, Director-level, and Manager-level stakeholders to understand business needs, priorities, and success measures.
- Design and deliver dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports that present complex clinical and operational data in clear, actionable ways.
- Translate data findings into business language, providing context and recommendations that drive executive and managerial decision making.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical/IT teams, ensuring data requirements are well understood and met.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights on clinical quality, financial performance, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within data and present findings in executive-ready formats.
- Maintain a strong focus on data integrity and governance while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Contribute to a culture of data literacy and adoption, helping leaders and managers interpret results and act on insights.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Public Health, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Insurance / claims with healthcare data analytics or business intelligence.
- Proven ability to work directly with executives and senior managers, delivering presentations and reports to non-technical audiences.
- Strong proficiency in reporting and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
- Solid SQL skills and comfort working with healthcare data (claims, EMR/EHR, operational, and financial datasets). SSRS, SQL, and SQL Server.
- Expert with Python.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of healthcare operations, performance metrics, and quality measures.
- Strong front-end analytics and visualization skills and Microsoft Stack technical expertise.
