Relex Technical System Consultant

Job Description

A Relex System Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing RELEX Solutions for retail, wholesale, and CPG clients. The role combines supply chain domain knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and hands-on system configuration to deliver measurable improvements in forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and space planning.

• Supply Chain Expertise Strong understanding of forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, demand planning, and retail operations.
• Analytical Skills Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Technical Aptitude Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus.
• RELEX Experience Prior exposure to RELEX modules (Forecasting, Replenishment) is highly preferred.
• Project Management Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Communication Skills Strong client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in retail, grocery, wholesale, or CPG environments.
• Hands-on involvement in system integrations with ERP, WMS, planning tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Consulting experience with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Solution Design Translate client business processes into RELEX configuration requirements, ensuring alignment with forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and space planning modules.
• System Configuration Configure RELEX parameters, rules, workflows, and integrations to meet client needs.
• Data Analysis Analyze historical sales, inventory, and operational data to support forecasting and replenishment optimization.
• Client Workshops Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, solution walkthroughs, and training workshops.
• Testing & Validation Develop and execute test cases, validate outputs, and ensure solution accuracy before go-live.
• Integration Support Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth data flows between RELEX and ERP, WMS, POS, and other systems.
• Change Management Support adoption through documentation, training, and ongoing guidance.
• Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy, reduce stockouts, and improve operational efficiency.
