Release Manager with ETL Testing

Summary: The Release Manager with ETL Testing will lead the development and implementation of QA processes and release management strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role involves creating and maintaining test plans, performing ETL testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on CI/CD pipelines. The position requires effective communication of issues and risks while providing guidance and training to team members. The role is remote and focuses on continuous delivery practices in a long-term capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and implement QA processes and procedures to improve product quality.
• Create, implement, and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies for assigned systems.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.
• Maintain accuracy and reliability of software applications, releases, and documentation.
• Perform ETL testing and document results in alignment with test plans.
• Identify, analyze, and track defects/test results, determining root causes of failures.
• Anticipate potential software issues by creating exhaustive test scenarios.
• Identify areas for test improvement using metrics and past experience.
• Communicate critical issues, risks, and status updates in a timely manner.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and training on QA processes to peers and team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native operations, and release management.
