Summary: The role of Redwood Finance Automation Consultant involves the technical design, configuration, and implementation of finance automation solutions within the Redwood environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Redwood Finance Automation components, including processes, process chains, data transformers, and database tables.
- Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using Redwood Orchestrator, Runner, and Workbench.
- Create and maintain business rules and automation logic utilizing REL and JavaScript expressions within Redwood workflows.
- Customize and enhance Redwood components to support finance-specific use cases, including Journal Entry processing, Intercompany accounting, and related automation scenarios.
- Perform technical analysis and solution design for new automation requirements.
- Establish and maintain technical integrations between Redwood and ERP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for the ingestion, transformation, and processing of financial data from ERP and external source systems.
- Support technical front-end development activities for Redwood interfaces using HTML and CSS.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across integrated systems and automated processes.
- Prepare, execute, and document technical test cases and test scripts to validate automation workflows and process performance.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues identified during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified defects.
- Support deployment activities and post-implementation validation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system configurations, workflow designs, integrations, testing activities, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical recommendations for process optimization and automation opportunities based on analytical findings and system performance assessments.
