Summary: The role of Real Estate & Acquisitions Manager involves managing commercial property acquisitions and real estate development for a global solutions provider. This position is remote, allowing for flexible scheduling over four working days a week, and is initially offered on a six-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for lease negotiations, compliance, and collaboration with various internal teams to align acquisition strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lease agreements, including negotiations, renewals, and rent reviews.
- Secure favorable lease terms through successful negotiations.
- Coordinate due diligence activities, including property inspections.
- Liaise with legal teams to ensure compliance and resolve legal issues related to acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, property owners, and developers.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management regarding potential acquisitions.
- Manage the acquisition process from initial inquiry to closing, ensuring timely completion of transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Property/Real Estate or a related field (relevant experience considered).
- MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience in commercial property acquisition and real estate development.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive acquisitions forward.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
