Summary: We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer / Mobile Architect to lead our mobile development team. The candidate should have extensive experience in building scalable mobile applications using React Native, focusing on architecture, feature implementation, and cross-platform user experiences. This role involves collaboration with various teams and maintaining high code quality standards. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions across both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Utilize Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment for efficient coding, debugging, and source control.
  • Leverage Xcode and Android Studio for advanced native platform debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Integrate and manage backend services using Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, push notifications, etc.).
  • Implement Datadog for mobile performance monitoring, error tracking, and analytics.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity features within mobile apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit tests, and best development practices.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development.
  • Strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern mobile frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and familiarity with Git-based version control.

  • Experience with Firebase services and cloud integration.
