Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee construction and maintenance of railway infrastructure, including track, bridges, tunnels, and earthworks.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and support project delivery from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and UK health & safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in railway engineering projects in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of relevant standards (e.g., NR/L2/CIV/003).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and travel as required.
