Summary: Morson Talent is looking for a Quality Composites Inspector for an aerospace client on a 6-month contract. The role involves working with key suppliers in the UK, primarily requiring travel to suppliers on the south coast, and is a virtual position. The successful candidate will be responsible for product verification, inspections, and liaising with client programs and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product verification and in-process inspections.
- Review of First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance.
- Creating and presenting metrics and performance data.
- Liaison with Client Program and Engineering.
Key Skills:
- Background in quality/inspection.
- Ability to understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork, and manufacturing specifications.
- Experience in the manufacture of composite, machined, and fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Knowledge of the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRU), wire looms, and fuel systems.
- Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Computer skills for data input into various systems and applications.

Morson Talent are seeking a Quality Composites Inspector to work on the behalf of our aerospace client intially on a 6 month contract. The role will be working with key suppliers in the UK with travel to and from suppliers on the south coast. This is a virtual (home office) position.
Responsibilities:
- Product verification and in-process inspections.
- Review of First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance.
- Creating and presenting metrics and performance data.
- Liaison with Client Program and Engineering.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Reporting to the UK Team Lead, the successful candidate will have a background in quality/inspection, be able to understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork and manufacturing specifications.
- Experience in the manufacture of composite, machined and fabricated parts and assemblies and knowledge of the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRU), experience on wire looms and fuel systems would be an advantage.
- Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard, be able to articulate non-compliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Computer skills will be required to input data into a number of different on and off-line systems and applications.
