Quality Engineer /SDET @ REMOTE

Introduction

Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer / SDET with expertise in Playwright, API Testing, JAVA, and K6. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
• Conduct API testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of backend services
• Utilize JAVA programming language to enhance test automation frameworks
• Implement performance testing using tools such as K6 to assess system efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform SOAP testing to validate data exchange between different systems
• Identify and report software defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Playwright for automated browser testing
• Expertise in API Testing to validate web services and integrations
• Proficient in JAVA programming language for test automation
• Experience with performance testing tools such as K6
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools for automated deployment
• Familiarity with SOAP testing for web service validation

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other testing frameworks and tools
• Certifications in quality assurance or software testing
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
