Quality Engineer (Oracle EBS)

Summary: The role of Quality Engineer (Oracle EBS) involves functional testing of Oracle EBS (R12) with a focus on ERP Financials applications. The position requires expertise in test planning, execution, and reporting, along with knowledge of Oracle SQL. This is a remote position based in the UK for a duration of 12 months, with a competitive day rate. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests using current testing tools and techniques.
• Delivering testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
• Manual testing of ERP Financials applications, preferably Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials or SAP ERP.
• Developing and executing test cases, including regression testing and defect tracking.
• Applying business ERP financial process knowledge (RTR, OTC, PTP) during testing.
• Identifying defects and issues during testing and determining appropriate tools for test cases.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience in ERP Financials application manual testing.
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Ability to develop and execute test cases.
• Experience in regression testing and defect tracking.
• Understanding of business ERP financial processes.
• Desirable: EBS related testing experience.
