Summary: The Quality Engineer (Oracle EBS) role involves functional testing of Oracle EBS (R12) with a focus on ERP Financials applications. The position requires expertise in test planning, execution, and reporting, along with a strong understanding of business ERP financial processes. The role is remote and is expected to last for 12 months, classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, manage, execute, and report tests using current testing tools and techniques.
  • Deliver testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
  • Conduct manual testing of ERP Financials applications, preferably Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials or SAP ERP.
  • Utilize Oracle SQL knowledge for testing purposes.
  • Apply functional testing tools knowledge and testing methodology.
  • Develop and execute test cases.
  • Perform business test execution and regression testing.
  • Track defects and open defect reports identifying issues during testing.
  • Determine appropriate tools for test cases and software problem identification.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests.
  • Experience in ERP Financials application manual testing.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL.
  • Functional testing tools knowledge.
  • Understanding of business ERP financial processes (RTR, OTC, PTP).
  • Experience in regression testing and defect tracking.
  • Experience with EBS related testing.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Expertise in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests using appropriate & current testing tools and techniques
  • Delivers testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
  • Experience in ERP Financials application manual testing (Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials is preferred or SAP ERP).
