Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance sampling activities in line with the organisation's quality strategy.
- Perform audit checks and observations (remote and in-person) on assessments and invigilation practices.
- Support with appeals and investigations as required.
- Gather structured, inclusive feedback from apprentices and employers to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain oversight of sector quality through accurate management of the Sector Quality Tracker.
- Provide guidance to EPAs on assessment methodology and ensure compliance with quality assurance frameworks.
- Monitor and manage automated QA systems to maintain appropriate sampling rates based on EPA performance status (RAG rated).
Key Skills:
- Relevant assessing qualification (e.g., CAVA).
- Internal Quality Assurer qualification (e.g., IQA).
- Appropriate sector-specific occupational qualifications.
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Proven experience working under pressure to targets and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Previous QA experience within work-based learning or the education sector.
