Summary: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive experience in Selenium-based test automation. The candidate should have a proven track record in developing and maintaining automation frameworks while collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of QA processes throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will also mentor team members and manage testing responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data-driven automated test scripts for smoke, functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Enhance and extend automation frameworks to support evolving application features and requirements.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to create robust and efficient automated test solutions.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the SDLC to align testing efforts with code changes.
- Review application updates and provide input to improve test coverage and testability.
- Mentor and support QA team members on automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Independently manage testing responsibilities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, relevant certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience with multiple testing tools, technologies, or programming languages.
- Strong understanding of QA processes across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience contributing to test strategy, especially for complex system integrations.
- Proven ability to evaluate tools, define test strategies, and perform test reviews.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium automation.
- Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs.
- Strong SQL skills; working knowledge of PL/SQL and Java is preferred.
- Good understanding of release cycles, test sign-offs, and deployment processes.
