Summary: The QA Engineer role involves working with the DBU organization on the InSight™ Digital Experience Platform, focusing on designing and delivering test plans and functional tests within an Agile development lifecycle. The position requires experience in testing cloud-based applications and data analytics, ensuring high-quality delivery for AI/ML-powered platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software application testing and Agile methodologies. This is a 6-month contract position with an inside IR35 status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver test plans and functional tests within an Agile development lifecycle.
- Test cloud-based applications and work with data analytics.
- Ensure high-quality delivery for AI/ML-powered platforms.
- Manage bug tracking and issue management tools such as JIRA.
- Perform manual and automated accessibility testing.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in software application testing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing test plans and writing test cases.
- Experience with data audits and data analytics in testing environments.
- Understanding of distributed processing frameworks such as PySpark.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508).
- Experience performing manual accessibility testing and automated accessibility testing.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) APIs and services (desirable).
- Experience testing Machine Learning (ML) and AI-based applications (desirable).
- Ability to work effectively in distributed or remote teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
