The District Attorney IT Program (DAIT) is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst III for our PROTECT Modernization Project.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working with our existing business analyst on formalizing testing protocols for the PROTECT case management system. It will be responsible for recommending and implementing an automated testing tool in addition to assisting the current business analyst with application testing, developing test scripts and writing documentation. This position will be part of the final two years of our modernization effort and serve as a member of the core team that includes members of the existing DAIT team and other IT contractors.
PROTECT is the in-house-developed comprehensive case management system used by all 71 District Attorney offices across the State. The system is a crucial tool for the operation of the DA offices as well as State justice partners (DOT, DOT, DOC and CCAP) through various interfaces. The system is being modernized to optimize processing, performance, and security.
REQUIRED: NICE TO HAVE
At least 5 years of QA experience involving documentation and testing (manual as well as automated testing experience).
Understanding user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction.
Proven experience creating and executing test scripts; documenting issues found; and communicating with developers and other team members about the items found and steps followed.
