Epiq Class Action & Claims Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic software team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and accuracy of our class action software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

responsibilities
- Conduct software testing to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact product quality.
- Create and maintain test data as needed.
- Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Foster a collaborative and productive quality assurance environment.
- Mentor and coach other QA engineers on automation testing best practices.
qualifications
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) in an Agile development framework.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise building and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium or Playwright.
- Solid experience in manual testing methodologies (Smoke, Sanity, Regression, UAT).
- Intermediate SQL querying skills for data validation and test data setup.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience utilizing AI coding assistants to enhance testing workflows.
- Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or similar industry certification.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
