- Work closely with the Responsible Officer and assessment delivery leads
Key Skills:
- Proven experience designing qualifications or curricula within an awarding or education context
- Strong background in teaching finance-related subjects, with insight into learner progression and assessment
- Solid understanding of assessment validity, reliability, and quality assurance
- Experience producing regulator-facing documentation
- Ability to deliver independently to fixed deadlines

Senior Qualification Designer (Contract – Project Based)
TLM (The Learning Machine) is an Ofqual and Qualifications Wales regulated awarding organisation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Qualification Designer to support a defined qualification design project.
Contract: Independent contractor
Project term: February 2026 – 1 April 2026
Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
The Role
You will deliver regulator-ready qualification design outputs within a fixed project timeframe. The role requires strong expertise in qualification structure, assessment design, and quality assurance, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
