Qlik Developer

Summary: The role of Qlik Developer involves working remotely on a contract basis for 6 to 12 months, focusing on data engineering, BI development, and analytics. The position requires extensive experience with SQL and Qlik tools, along with a strong understanding of data modeling and modern BI tools. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BI solutions using Qlik tools (Qlik Sense/QlikView).
• Perform data engineering and analytics tasks to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Design semantic layers and curated datasets for analytics.
• Collaborate with teams on data architecture and modernization initiatives.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL expertise, preferably with BigQuery and/or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView).
• Experience with modern BI tools such as Looker and/or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.).
• Proven ability to perform ad hoc analysis and communicate insights effectively.
• Experience designing semantic layers and curated datasets for analytics.
• Experience with Snowflake to BigQuery migration projects (preferred).
• Additional experience with Tableau and/or Looker in production environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with cross-platform data architecture and modernization initiatives (preferred).
