Summary: The Qlik Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Qlik dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders, while performing advanced SQL queries and data transformations. The position requires collaboration with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and usability, as well as the delivery of actionable insights through data analysis. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders
- Perform advanced SQL queries and data transformations using BigQuery and/or Snowflake
- Build and optimize data models to support scalable analytics and reporting
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Design and implement curated datasets and semantic-ready tables/views for BI consumption
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Support performance tuning and optimization of BI tools and underlying data structures
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics roles
- Strong SQL expertise, preferably with BigQuery and/or Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView)
- Experience with modern BI tools such as Looker and/or Tableau
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.)
- Proven ability to perform ad hoc analysis and communicate insights effectively
- Experience designing semantic layers and curated datasets for analytics
