Summary: The Qlik Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Qlik dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders, while performing advanced SQL queries and data transformations. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders
- Perform advanced SQL queries and data transformations using BigQuery and/or Snowflake
- Build and optimize data models to support scalable analytics and reporting
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Design and implement curated datasets and semantic-ready tables/views for BI consumption
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Support performance tuning and optimization of BI tools and underlying data structures
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics roles
- Strong SQL expertise, preferably with BigQuery and/or Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView)
- Experience with modern BI tools such as Looker and/or Tableau
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.)
- Proven ability to perform ad hoc analysis and communicate insights effectively
- Experience designing semantic layers and curated datasets for analytics
