Summary: The Qlik Administrator role involves overseeing the infrastructure design and maintenance of the QlikSense suite, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The position requires proactive monitoring of the QlikSense environment and mentoring of the support team. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in overall infrastructure design, strategy, and on-going maintenance of the QlikSense suite of products
- Assist in helping Install, configure and upgrade QlikSense Servers and other 3rd Party tools
- Analyze Windows Event logs and QlikSense Server log files to troubleshoot and solve issues; Identify potential solutions to resolve and prevent service interruptions.
- Administer/maintain access to QlikSense Management Console for document administrators.
- Pro-actively monitor the QlikSense environment to ensure performance on the servers
- Manage migration of QLIK objects between Development, QA and Production environments
- Mentor support team and provide technical documentation, developer guides and assist in trouble shooting
- Participate in the design reviews to ensure conformance to design/certification standards
- Ensures the platform is positioned for compliance with IT policies and standards and agreed upon service levels
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
- Ability to work independently, and manage components of large engagement
- Should be a self-learner and good team player.
- Strong problem skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
