Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct system testing on new and existing projects.
- Write, debug, and execute automated tests, including manual tests as necessary.
- Utilize frameworks such as Rest Assured for API testing.
- Create automated regression packs for both API and front-end features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers.
- Identify data requirements and implement tests to ensure automation coverage.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the test automation framework.
- Expand test scenarios based on feedback from stakeholders.

The Role
Automation Tester is needed for us here at Satalia for 6 months. The individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have an eye for detail. We require a highly motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills. You will be the automation tester in a team of testers working on a new client engagement. You will be involved in the identification, writing, debugging and execution of automated tests and where necessary manual tests. You will require experience of testing APIs using frameworks such as Rest Assured.
What You Will Be Doing
The applicant will be system testing on new and existing projects and be proficient in TypeScript, Cucumber, PactumJS and have experience of creating automated regression packs covering both API and front end-based features. A good knowledge of Java is essential to this role and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their competence in this area.
