Summary: Baer is seeking a QA Tester for a 9+ month remote project, specifically for candidates based in the US. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test scripts based on business requirements and process flows.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Execute test cases across various testing phases, including:
- Unit Testing Support
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Capture and maintain testing evidence and results.
- Log, triage, retest, and verify defects.
- Ensure defect records are complete with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, test data, and severity classifications.
- Support test data preparation and perform environment smoke testing.
- Monitor daily test execution progress and report basic testing metrics, including planned vs. executed tests and pass/fail status.
- Assist in coordinating test cycles by managing schedules, invitations, tester onboarding, and issue follow-ups.
- Maintain testing repositories and documentation standards within tools such as Jira, ALM, Solution Manager, or Cloud ALM.
- Follow established testing processes, naming conventions, and quality standards.
