Summary: The QA Test Lead with Databrick will oversee the migration of data from an EDW to a modern data platform, ensuring quality assurance throughout the process. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, developing testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for the migration project, ensuring all testing activities align with project goals and timelines.
- Supervise and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality testing outcomes.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various phases of the migration, including functional, performance, and security testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and testing of migrated data.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
- Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for testing, ensuring compliance with TRICARE requirements and industry regulations.
- Provide regular status updates and detailed reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest QA trends and technologies, continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
