Summary: The QA Test Automation Engineer role involves supporting a large-scale insurance transformation program by developing automated testing solutions and executing test cases. The position requires collaboration with senior testing leadership and various project teams to ensure high-quality technology outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and similar automation tools within established testing frameworks.
- Execute both manual and automated testing activities, documenting results and supporting defect resolution efforts.
- Support test planning, test design, environment validation, execution, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with QA leadership, developers, business analysts, and project teams to achieve testing objectives.
- Contribute to expanding automation coverage while supporting business-critical manual testing efforts.
- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and regression testing activities.
- Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, testing processes, and quality engineering practices.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of experience performing software testing and quality assurance activities within enterprise technology environments.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and comparable automation tools.
- Strong understanding of: Test design and test execution, Defect management, Test planning and reporting, Quality assurance best practices.
- Experience working effectively within small teams and contributing across multiple testing responsibilities.
- Ability to support both automated and manual testing efforts in blended testing environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
