Summary: The role involves providing Quality Assurance (QA) support for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system in a high-end luxury retail environment. The position is remote, requiring candidates to be in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone, and is a 6-month contract with an immediate start. Candidates must have strong SQL and Excel skills, preferably with a background in retail, supply chain, or eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance (QA) support for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Review requirements typically captured in Jira
  • Create a detailed test plan capturing applicable pre-conditions, test case description, steps to execute, expected results, etc.
  • Review test plan draft with developer(s) and Product owner
  • Prepare testing data
  • Execute test plan
  • Report any issues / bugs in Jira including details of what was expected vs what happened and attaching any supporting documentation
  • Retest any previously reported issues to ensure everything works as expected
  • Support downstream partners with data preparation for unrelated testing
  • Support manual data entry / data cleansing on as needed basis
  • Provide daily status updates of work completed and work in progress
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize work as needed

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a manual QA tester
  • Intermediate SQL and Excel skills
  • Ability to use Jira, Confluence and Google docs
  • Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong ability to understand technical issues and communicate them to non-technical team members and leadership
  • Ability to write clear, concise and thorough test plans
  • Ability to work independently and provide daily status updates
  • Self-starter who is flexible and comfortable working through uncertainties
  • Ability to work on multiple tracks and switch back and forth between them
  • Mature, grounded, can serve as a resource to others
  • Open minded and proactive; detail-oriented and organized

Manager is looking for a QA support for a Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system which came under her area.
Responsibilities:
