QA (Quality Assurance) Testing Engineer - FinTech - REMOTE

Summary: The QA Tester (Quality Assurance Engineer) role at a large Investment Bank in London involves leading technical initiatives to define and implement testing strategies that enhance customer experiences. This position is primarily remote but allows for optional office attendance. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients and teams to ensure high-quality testing processes and results. Key Responsibilities:

• Understand clients and stakeholders testing needs and ensure our process consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences
• Create and maintain client-facing documentation related to testing processes and results
• Manage and facilitate exploratory testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions, ensuring client feedback is effectively captured and addressed
• Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies aligned with business objectives and client expectations
• Review and guide test plans and scripts, ensuring consistency and quality across teams
• Develop intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and cutting-edge solutions

Key Skills:

• Overall 7+ Years of QA Experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Linux/UNIX/Shell Scripting
• Banking Domain Experience ideally
• Possess hands-on technical experience with relevant test automation technologies
• Strong understanding of various testing types and methodologies, including automated test frameworks, mocking, stubbing, and modern testing frameworks
• Experience in delivering and testing distributed microservices and front-end applications, working with agile development teams
• Demonstrate good knowledge in non-functional testing like performance and security testing with practical experience
• A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
