Qa Lead

Summary: The QA Lead role involves leading a small team of QA engineers while actively engaging in both manual and automated testing of AI/ML products. The candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, maintaining documentation, and conducting integration testing with LLMs. Strong expertise in QA automation tools and proven leadership experience are essential for this position. The role is fully remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small team of QA engineers
• Perform manual and automated testing for AI-driven products
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, regression cases, and edge-case tests
• Maintain accurate test documentation, test results, and defect reports
• Implement and manage testing repository systems
• Work with automation teams to design and execute automated test scripts
• Conduct integration testing with multiple LLMs and external systems
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure alignment with user experience goals
• Communicate testing status, quality metrics, and risks to stakeholders

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8-10 years of QA experience with strong hands-on testing background
• Proven leadership experience leading and mentoring QA teams
• Strong expertise in QA automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience with testing frameworks and repository systems
• Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with UX design principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
