Summary: The QA Lead for D365 Finance & Operations (Functional) is responsible for overseeing functional testing, business process validation, and UAT support within Azure-based ERP environments. This role requires extensive experience in D365 F&O and a strong understanding of ERP processes. The position is contract-based and offers remote working arrangements. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, compliance, and release readiness throughout the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end functional testing across D365 F&O business processes
- Create and execute test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements
- Validate workflows, configurations, approvals, and business rules
- Test key ERP processes such as record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash
- Support UAT with business users and ensure issue resolution
- Track defects and coordinate with functional and technical teams
- Participate in sprint reviews, release validation, and sign-off activities
- Maintain test documentation, traceability, and QA reports
Key Skills:
- 8-10 years of QA experience with 2-4+ years in D365 F&O functional testing
- Strong understanding of ERP processes (Finance and/or Supply Chain)
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration testing, and UAT coordination
- Experience in data validation and reconciliation at business level
- Strong experience working in Azure-based D365 F&O environments
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (test plans, defect tracking, work items)
