Summary: The QA & Engineering Analyst role is focused on enhancing delivery operations and ensuring the quality of technology solutions within a remote setting. This position serves as a quality advocate and process improver, bridging the gap between technical complexities and business needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive manual QA across black box, regression, and cross-browser testing scenarios.
  • Conduct thorough UX and functional testing, providing detailed feedback for developers.
  • Test new features and updates before client deployment, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain testing protocols that scale with the product suite.
  • Create detailed test cases and documentation for recurring testing scenarios.
  • Investigate and triage technical issues, providing actionable bug reports.
  • Act as first line of support for internal technical issues, resolving and escalating as needed.
  • Maintain the issue tracking system, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of problems.
  • Support urgent client issues by identifying root causes and coordinating with the development team.
  • Assist with IT operations and internal rollouts, including MDM and new tooling implementations.

The role

We're hiring a QA & Engineering Analyst to strengthen our delivery operations and ensure the quality of our technology solutions. You'll be the guardian of our product quality, supporting our engineering team while they focus on building innovative solutions for our clients and internal teams. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and enabling our team to move fast without breaking things. This isn't just about finding bugs. It's about being a quality advocate, a process improver, and a bridge between technical complexity and business needs. You'll work across our technology stack, from our proprietary Leap platform to client-facing solutions, ensuring everything we ship meets our high standards. You'll be a key enabler of our engineering team's productivity, handling the operational tasks that free up senior developers to focus on complex problem-solving and innovation. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver quality solutions at pace.

What you'll do

About You

  • You have experience in QA roles and understand the importance of systematic testing approaches
  • You ideally have a ISTQB testing certification
  • You have strong technical aptitude but can communicate complex issues in simple, clear terms
  • You're detail-oriented and methodical, but also pragmatic about where to focus your efforts for maximum impact
  • You understand web technologies, browsers, and common technical issues that affect user experience
  • You're proactive in identifying process improvements and comfortable suggesting better ways of working
  • You can work independently and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
