Key Responsibilities:

  • Compare Power BI extract data with backend exports (Excel-based comparisons) to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation, balancing manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development (L&D) QA team to leverage best practices and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
  • Build, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts using Cypress and Playwright.

  • Strong knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and using SQL for data validation.

Resource 1 is in need of a QA Consultant to support the development, testing, and launch of interactive Power BI dashboards and data-driven benchmarking products. This role involves hands-on functional testing, SQL-based data validation, and automation script development to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of the platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automated testing, and a strong ability to collaborate within a cross-functional, Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Product Manager to define and implement QA processes for Power BI dashboards.
  • Develop and document test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute functional, regression, and data validation testing across dashboards.
  • Compare Power BI extract data with backend exports (Excel-based comparisons) to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation, balancing manual and automated testing approaches.
